A recent study shows that about 34% of U.S. adults are now using generative-AI tools such as ChatGPT to help navigate job and educational choices, with many employing AI to draft resumes (43 %), explore new roles (28 %) or identify high-demand careers (19 %). While this reflects how technology is reshaping career planning, experts caution that AI should complement—not replace—human guidance and critical reflection when it comes to major career decisions.
